Velkommen til Copenhagen! For two decades, Copenhagen Fashion Week has quietly reshaped the conversation around Scandinavian style. What was once synonymous with pared-back minimalism has evolved into something altogether more expressive, where thoughtful layering, bold colour, playful proportions and a commitment to conscious design coexist with effortless ease. As the spring/summer 2027 season unfolds from 3 to 7 August, the Danish capital once again proves why its streets remain among fashion month’s most closely watched.
The milestone edition also ushers in a first for the event. A genuine departure from a lineup that’s spent two decades staying resolutely local, New York label Collina Strada joins the official calendar as Copenhagen Fashion Week’s inaugural International Guest Slot, with designer Hillary Taymour presenting on 6 August. The rest of the schedule stays true to the city’s homegrown spirit, welcoming the return of Henrik Vibskov, Baum und Pferdgarten, Mfpen and Marimekko.
The NewTalent programme remains a cornerstone of Copenhagen’s commitment to spotlight fashion’s next generation. Nicklas Skovgaard returns as an alumnus after launching his career through the initiative, while Iamisigo enters the season following its Zalando Visionary Award win. Institution arrives fresh from its recognition as an LVMH Prize finalist, and Studio Constance makes history as the programme’s first Swedish participant alongside Stem.
Off the runway, however, Copenhagen’s streets remain the city’s greatest calling card. This season, editors, buyers, models and creatives once again turn the pavements into an extension of the shows, leaning into the contrasts that have come to define its style language: romantic lace against utilitarian staples, sheer layers softened by relaxed silhouettes, and handcrafted textures meeting unexpected pops of colour. Scroll on for a glimpse of the standout style moments across the city’s spring/summer 2026 shows, as lensed by Acielle of Style du Monde.
