Despite sizzling temperatures, the showgoers at Paris men’s spring/summer 2027 are embracing a distinctly rebellious mood. Distressed denim is everywhere, with leather skinny jeans emerging as an unexpected favourite. Rock-inspired dressing is having a major resurgence, as seen through chunky studded belts, DIY Americana references, and flashes of tie-dye throughout the citygoers.
FIFA may be based in North America, but even the 3ème is showing their team spirit with jerseys and athleisure influence (did someone say allez les bleus?). A statement jade-green has emerged as the season’s standout accent colour, appearing on everything from polos and footwear to bags—a trend we may have already been eyeing since Team France’s Marcus Thuram was spotted with Chanel x Pharrell XXL flap bag of a similar emerald hue. Yet the true stars of the streets may just be the hats: tiger-print caps, pastel woven bucket hats, and exaggerated busboy-style caps are turning heads across the city.
As per, the BA students at Institut Français de la Mode are leading the charge, as the opening presentation on the Paris men’s calendar. Then there are certainly the luxury stalwarts to note; Anthony Vaccarello and Pharrell Williams have already kicked things off with Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton respectively, whilst this season welcomes Jonathan Anderson’s second showing for spring men’s—a year after he made his debut. Other shows to note include Willy Chavarria, Rick Owens, Kiko Kostadinov and Yohji Yamamoto. Korean designers are also making a strong impression this season, with brands such as Wooyoungmi, Songzio, and Post Archive Faction reinforcing Seoul’s growing influence on the global fashion landscape—and quickly becoming the most exciting labels to watch.
Ahead, Phil Oh captures the best style moments from the Paris streets.
