There was plenty to take in on the fall/winter 2026 runways, though the shoes had a sneaky habit of stealing the eye anyway. Across collections, footwear came through with far more personality than a supporting accessory ever should, whether in the way a print sharpened the styling, a familiar sports code was pushed somewhere dressier, or a heel carried enough attitude to shift the mood of a look entirely. What emerged was a lineup of shoes that felt like pieces in their own right, giving the season an extra hit of charm and style conviction.
The bigger talking points wasted no time making themselves known. At Dior, Jonathan Anderson’s polka-dot heels and flora-inspired iterations were every whimsy girl’s dream, bringing in that dressed-up sense of delight and feeding further into that spirit of dress-up and feminine flourish—definitely a footwear moment that lingered. Chanel also carried a similar nature-inspired energy. For his sophomore collection, Matthieu Blazy took cues from the life cycle of a butterfly, with one standout heel coming in the form of a vibrant textured fringe style.
A different kind of buzz was sparked by Onitsuka Tiger, where the brand sent out a heeled take on its Mexico 66—for the athlete that has dinner plans after practice? With ballet sneakers already having their moment, sneaker heels could likely be the next shoe to watch. Carrying the familiarity of a trainer with enough feminine polish, the style appeared in the brand’s signature yellow and in a white, blue and red combination, giving the silhouette even more kick.
And continuing that sports-meets-fashion streak, Simone Rocha also folded that energy into her fall/winter 2026 collection through her new Adidas collaboration, which brought slim sneakers with ribbon laces and ballerina-inflected shapes into the mix, a blend of sporty references with bows, crystals and Rocha’s signature romantic finish, giving the whole thing the coquette treatment without losing its edge. Of course, boots also had their moment, as seen in Prada’s periwinkle-blue feathered pointed, complete with yellow laces, while Ralph Lauren brought a more grounded Western edge to its own pairs.
Together, the footwear brought even more lift to the runways, adding to the sense of character that ran through the season. Below, peruse Vogue Singapore’s curation of the fall/winter 2026 shoes we couldn’t take our eyes off.
