As the men’s spring/summer 2027 season continues to unfold, the runways are once again pulling in a crowd far beyond the industry’s usual circles. Between the soaring temperatures and buzzy shows, one thing remains constant: the celebrity attendance.
While the front rows have increasingly become their own spectacle, the collections themselves are still where the conversation begins. Even before the Milan shows had started, Simone Rocha’s menswear debut at Pitti Uomo was one of the season’s most charming talking points, carrying her world into menswear through sheer layers, rosettes, pearls and softened tailoring. Over in Milan, Prada’s show brought out a different take on its usual menswear codes, while Dolce&Gabbana stayed in familiar territory with sleek tailoring, sheer shirts and a dressed-up Sicilian mood.
Moving over to Paris, Pharrell Williams stages his latest Louis Vuitton show against a towering wave set, awing the audience before the clothes even came out. The collection itself leaned into surf culture, with beach and skate references worked into the house’s travel codes. And with the Paris shows now in full swing, the big houses have only kept the momentum going. Dior has already delivered one of the week’s most closely watched shows, with Jonathan Anderson returning for his third menswear outing for the maison after his highly talked-about debut last season. Saint Laurent also brought its own star-studded moment earlier in the week, while Loewe continues to hold one of the most anticipated slots on the schedule.
And then came the FROWs. Prada had NCT’s Jaehyun, Louis Patridge and Enhypen, while Louis Vuitton saw names like J-Hope, BamBam, Gong Yoo, Jackson Wang and Fourth Nattawat spotted at the show, while Saint Laurent brought out Madonna, Kate Moss, Charli XCX, Austin Butler, with Cortis members Martin and James also making an appearance. Over at Dior, BTS’s Jimin was in attendance alongside Cortis’ Keonho, Juhoon and Seonghyeon, adding to the season’s already stacked celebrity turnout. And clearly, there were familiar faces everywhere—so much so that even Chinese actor Chen Zheyuan became a little internet meme of his own after mistaking Zhu Yilong for Deng Wei, giving the internet its own unserious front-row subplot.
