As we approach the final days of the fall/winter 2025 fashion season, we’re back in Paris, the indisputable fashion capital of the world. While it’s still early in the week, the streets are abuzz with anticipation for this year’s shows as a number of freshly minted creative directors—Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, Sarah Burton for Givenchy and Louise Trotter for Bottega Veneta among them—gear up to present their debut collections.
Already, some of the early showings have proven that this season is one to watch, with powerhouses like Dior and Balmain tapping on the best of their respective unique DNA in this year’s collections. Amid the excitement—and ahead of its upcoming show on Monday—Louis Vuitton also announced their long-awaited foray into beauty, La Beauté Louis Vuitton, arriving this fall in collaboration with the inimitable Pat McGrath. Celebrity sightings have also reached a fever pitch this week, with some of the world’s biggest musicians, actors and fashion icons making their yearly pilgrimage to Paris to claim their front-row seats to the latest in fashion. Rapper Doja Cat, Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall and K-pop icon Jisoo are just a few of the many stars spotted lighting up the Parisian streets this week.
While there’s plenty more to come over the next few days, this season’s showgoers are a sight to behold, providing a spectacle that easily rivals that of the runways. After all, this is Paris we’re talking about. Attendees are bringing their boldest, most experimental looks to the shows, from over-the-top structured silhouettes, kaleidoscopic prints to psychedelic makeup looks, everything and anything goes on the streets—and we’re loving every moment of it.
