The weekend came and left—and so did Next In Vogue. Over a span of three days, Vogue Singapore’s landmark event unfolded before us, an unbridled celebration of all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Lest you forget, the stylish affairs of the three-day extravaganza began at the newly-opened The Singapore Edition, which warmly welcomed us to its contemporary space located in the heart of Orchard Road. During the first two days, a plethora of riveting panels, educational beauty masterclasses and exhibition spaces were unveiled to the public—and attendees from all over the region swarmed in for a taste of what was on offer at Next In Vogue. Throughout the whole weekend, many attendees also popped over to the Vogue Singapore Foundation Booth at Boutique Fairs, where the works of three local and emerging designers were featured.
First up, there was Next In Vogue Conversations, where an extensive line-up of panel discussions and keynote speeches made way for a myriad of insightful takeaways depending on where your interests lay. Global thought leaders dove into deeper conversation about how the fashion industry is changing, alongside the emerging technology surrounding it. Guests enjoyed the likes of a star-studded panel that delved into the intrinsic overlaps of the fashion and entertainment scene, and a closing panel discussion which discussed the effects of TikTok on content creation. Not to be forgotten? Ashley Park’s appearance, where the Emily in Paris star shed light on her own perspectives on fashion and its power for creative expression.
Aside from the insightful conversations, attendees also had the opportunity to enter the Vogue Glam Room, where interactive beauty masterclasses were held by the likes of Yann Beyrie Paris, KIKI Beauty, Dyson and SK-II. And just outside? The Vogue Closet awaited all, with one-of-a-kind exhibition pieces that included Miss Sohee’s breathtaking couture gown and Bad Binch TongTong’s octopus dress. Meanwhile, over at Boutique Fairs, Crystal Lee of Project Coal, Pit Firdaus Aris of Studio Vetyver and Denise Chong of Denise Chong Adornments displayed their works to the buzzy weekend crowd till the very last day of Next In Vogue.
Of course, it wouldn’t have been complete without a Vogue-worthy party—The Singapore Edition also played host to our third anniversary gala that saw many of our key speakers and panellists join famed local faces for an evening of fashion and Vogue. Join us as we round up all the things you might have missed at Next In Vogue.
