All eyes were on Next in Vogue over the past weekend. A three-day extravaganza took over The Singapore Edition as Vogue Singapore celebrated the future of fashion, culture and lifestyle through a lens of innovation, followed by an exclusive gala for a night to remember. It was an affair like no other as the industry’s key players came together to define the future of fashion.
Brand founders and creative directors, digital leaders and academics gathered under one roof to explore the influence of technology on the local and regional sartorial scape, sparking a series of conversations on the impact of innovation on fashion and the generational shift in the ever-changing industry. An immersive playground of digital and physical fashion encapsulated Vogue Closet, which also saw debut showcases in Singapore from avant-garde visionaries Bad Binch Tong Tong and Miss Sohee. Beauty buffs delved into Vogue Glam Room, where a plethora of masterclasses conducted by maestros from KIKI World, Sk-II, Mudo Labs and Yann Beyrie took place.
To end the day on a high, it only seemed fitting to make way for a night of glamour and revelry as Vogue Singapore celebrated its third anniversary with an extravagant gala. Themed ‘Power Play’ as a nod to our November 2023 issue, the evening saw our stylish guests deliver just that—with the likes of Tony-nominated actress Ashley Park, Glenn Yong and Fiona Xie gracing the black carpet for the night. The sartorial spotlight shone on Singaporean designers as well, with attendees arriving in Frederick Lee and Studio Vetyver, amongst others.
