So far, we’ve seen Gemma Chan bring out a dreamy Louis Vuitton gown for the promo trail for new film Eternals, as well as a sustainably-minded squiggle dress by PH5. For her latest red carpet look at the Rome Film Festival, the actor championed rising couturier, Sohee Park, who also counts the likes of Cardi B, Miley Cyrus and Bella Hadid among her fans.

Chan looked sensational in dazzling black separates, which she teamed with a matching headpiece embellished with Swarovski crystals, also by Park’s eponymous brand, Miss Sohee. She completed the look with crystal drop earrings and a bright red lipstick to finish.

With each piece taking hours to create by hand, South Korean-born designer Park is eco-conscious in her approach, using recycled materials and deadstock where possible. “Being sustainable is a responsibility for emerging designers,” Park previously told Vogue. “It’s why I’m drawn to haute couture—there’s no mass production and only what is necessary is used.” Chan has been keen to promote the work of Asian designers in the past, choosing to wear only Asian designers during the Crazy Rich Asians press tour. The actor also paid tribute to Hollywood’s first Chinese-American actress, Anna May Wong, via her Met Gala look this year, created by Nepalese-American designer Prabal Gurung.
