On becoming a L’Oréal ambassador
I am really so excited and thrilled to be joining the L’Oréal Paris family. I grew up watching the commercials and hearing the tagline so it feels a little surreal to now be an ambassador—but I’m very excited. L’Oréal Paris stands for more than just beauty, it is about uplifting and celebrating women, which I have always been passionate about.
On her morning routine
I like doing yoga. I’ve just started Pilates which is brutal—so brutal, deceptively so. But I do enjoy that and I have a mini morning routine. It’s a blend of yoga, sun salutations, and a little bit of Pilates core work. It only takes about 10 minutes but I find that if I do that in the morning, it sets me up for the day ahead and my posture is better. Even if I’m just sitting on the sofa working on my laptop, if I’ve done that, I feel better.
On her evening skincare routine
It depends on how much care my skin needs—it varies. If I’m wearing a lot of make-up, and I’ve just come home from work, I might need a more thorough cleansing. But in general, if my skin isn’t too made up, I actually love using a micellar wipe. My skin can be a bit sensitive so I like the Simple micellar wipes—I find them good for taking off waterproof mascara as well. And then I usually follow up with a toner of some sort—it could be a micellar water or, if I’m feeling my skin needs a bit more care, it could be a retinol tonic. And then for moisturising, I love the L’Oréal Revitalift Classic Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream. I find it works quite well with my skin because it’s not too heavy, and it’s got that retinol that my skin needs.
