Ever since Jonathan Anderson took the reins at Loewe, it became clear that the boundaries of one’s imagination can always be expected to be challenged through the maison’s runway. For its menswear collection for fall/winter 2023, he prioritised designs that teased with the mind: minimal and pared-back, yet considered and thought-provoking. Sensuous silhouettes were mired by brilliantly distilled separates, amidst romantic sensibilities that chimed in through angel wings and a space livened by the contemporary artworks of Julien Nguyen.
Whilst Anderson’s menswear lineup might subtly clue us in as to what we can anticipate on the runway at Loewe’s show for womenswear tonight, only one thing remains clear: expect the unexpected. Ahead of the fall/winter 2023 show in Paris, the house has released a montage video on its Instagram account: featuring dreamy scenes of nature such as raindrops and horses galloping through the meadows. A homage to nature, no doubt, which has been a leading motif for his collections as of late.

As the fashion world awaits the unveiling of the maison’s collection, there is also much buzz surrounding the guestlist, with the shows in Milan and Paris so far having been star-studded affairs—with celebrities flying in from all over the globe. K-pop star Taeyong of NCT 127 is anticipated to make an appearance, alongside Emily Ratajkowski, Greta Lee and Loewe’s ambassadors, the girls of NMIXX.
Tune in live to the Loewe fall/winter 2023 show from Paris, happening on 3 March at 6.30 pm SGT.
