Star-studded line-up: “It was a special day when I designed this bag; the stars aligned,” shared Silvia Venturini Fendi about the now iconic Baguette bag born in 1997. And 25 years later, the stars have aligned again. But this time, it was a constellation of fashion’s biggest hitters to produce this special anniversary collection. In addition to Silvia Fendi, artistic director for the women’s collection Kim Jones teamed up with Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co and Sarah Jessica Parker to deliver a fun and fabulous offering witnessed by Grace Jones, Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian, Song Hye Kyo, Greg Hsu, Evan Mock amongst many other celebrities.

Design leitmotif: It comes as no surprise that the shape and silhouette of the Fendi Baguette was not only interpreted in various sizes and finishes—nano bags, crystal encrusted bags, bum bags, Baguettes in calf as well as sequined and, of course, fur—but also appliquéd to totes, reimagined as large pouches on pullovers, and stitched as miniature functional pockets onto bucket hats, beanies and gloves.

A style tip for Singapore: The outré and oversized fur hats might not go down well in our neck of the tropical woods, but there’s plenty of statement pieces from the 25th anniversary Baguette show to whet your fashion appetite, without causing a wet wipe out.
