Cara Delevingne works with Karl Legerfeld brand on a genderless collection
Poised like an ode to the legendary designer, the capsule collection titled ‘Cara Loves Karl’ is Cara Delevingne’s first collaboration with the Karl Legerfeld brand and is meant to feature a variety of ready-to-wear separates and accessories that are all genderless—not merely unisex. In an interview with Vogue, the supermodel muses: “I truly believe [Karl] would be really proud of what we have created and how we have created it—without defining who should wear the pieces, allowing the person to dictate what the fashion really becomes.” The selection promises a rack of tailoring-forward pieces, such as suit jackets and button-down shirts with customisable features like removable collars or easily transformable shapes. The collection will soon be available come 8 September in-stores and online.

Gabriela Hearst opens their first Paris pop-up at Le Bristol
The Le Bristol in Paris is Gabriela Hearst’s makeshift home every time she spends time in the capital French city. And now her affections are taken further: the designer’s eponymous label, Gabriela Hearst, will now be setting up its first exclusive pop-up location in the charming city in the ground-floor lobby of the hotel—the first time for any brand to do so. The hotel’s space will be given an elegant makeover that echoes the sentiments of the house’s flagship store designs in New York and London: of natural linens, reclaimed oak display shelves and other custom fixtures that were designed exclusively with furniture designer Antoine Dumas and woodworking artisan Benjamin Gavron. All pointing to the sustainable ethos that the luxury brand puts forth. The custom pop-up store that will be running till 5 November this year, will be home to a curation of ready-to-wear, handbags and accessories from the signature capsule for both menswear and womenswear, as well as the recent spring and fall 2022 collections.
