On day two of Paris Haute Couture Week for fall/winter 2022-2023, Virginie Viard sent out languid tweed coats with matching wide-brimmed fedoras at the Étrier de Paris equestrian centre; Alexis Mabille delivered a diverse bouquet of diva-esque gowns with an operatic rock soundtrack; and Stéphane Rolland dedicated an elegant show to the late French icon Monique Andrée Serf (better known as Barbara), replete with monochromatic ensembles in swathes of dramatic black, ivory and red in the iconic Théâtre du Châtelet.
