Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye
One of our skincare favourites is now available in a potent eye serum. Like the Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum, this eye treatment takes three seemingly incompatible actives: hyaluronic acid, vitamin C + niacinamide, and vitamin F alongside SNK-Peptide to treat dynamic lines around the eye and its contours. Panel testing revealed that it has the potential to uplift eyelids and de-puff eye bags: that remains to be seen in our case, however it’s fair to say this helps to correct the look of crow’s feet with consistent use. – Alli Sim, beauty and wellness director

Jung Beauty Purifying Bubble Cleanser
Sometimes, the best thing you can do to pamper yourself after a long day is to luxuriate yourself in a bubble bath. The next best thing? An equally lush face wash that promises a silky-smooth experience, and then some. Enter: Jung Beauty’s Purifying Bubble Cleanser. Concocted with a blend of panthenol and five potent probiotics, this cleanser goes above and beyond impurity removal, instead giving your skin barrier a hydration boost, encourages its maintenance of a healthy skin microbiome and soothes inflammation. When lathered with water, not only does it lend to a delightful bubbly foam that is incredibly gentle on the skin, a refreshingly subtle woody scent is also gleaned, one I’ve learnt is imbued through the addition of chamaecyparis obtusa water derived from the Hinoki tree. — Azrin Tan, senior digital writer

After two weeks of use, I observed clearer, smoother skin with a reduced amount of breakouts. This is likely attributed to its one-of-a-kind formulation comprising BHA alternatives, Kyo matcha, and willow bark—all of which are designed to work in tandem to clarify and aid in skin decongestion. The inclusion of ceramide-like Japanese mugwort also serves as a welcome addition, delivering on a potent dose of hydration which resulted in a soft, mochi-like skin texture. — Emily Heng, associate beauty editor

Aēsop Tacit Eau de Parfum
A spritz of the sun. Hardly the one that reminds you of the Mediterranean sea, but rather its more woody, earthy counterparts. This is the mood I find myself wearing with Aēsop’s first fragrance in nearly a decade: Tacit. There’s a splash of citrus notes bottled in, but its real charm lies in its crush of basil; the latter contributing to its leathery, leafy lift. As if it wasn’t already enchanting enough, it all comes together in a very Aēsop way—subtle, tasteful and quietly transformative. — Azrin Tan, senior digital writer

Oribe Hair Alchemy Heatless Styling Balm
The brand’s highly-revered Hair Alchemy range welcomes a new member to its family: the Heatless Styling Balm. This leave-in, multi-tasking elixir comes in a rich, creamy texture that helps fortify strands while also ensuring specific hairstyles set in place. Case in point: I’ve been using it as a curl cream, whereupon I’d scrunch it through my permed locks every night and let it air-dry before bed. This leads to bouncy, luscious, and more defined curls the very next day—with less frizzing notice throughout the day despite Singapore’s humidity. Almora Botanica Serum for Fine Lines
They say two to three drops of this watery, oil-in-water serum is sufficient for the face, but if we’re being honest, I love massaging a dropper’s worth onto my skin after each cleanse… there’s just something about this naturally herbal-scented serum that I find rather comforting. Powered by botanical ingredients long cherished in Ayurveda such as Centella asiatica, mango fruit pulp, and white horehound, this micro-active serum aids in reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles while strengthening collagen networks and safeguarding the skin against pollution by increasing barrier function. The real hero of this serum made of 99.27 per cent natural ingredients is Almora’s Sapta complex, a proprietary blend of seven natural oils that reportedly helps deliver active ingredients faster and deeper into the skin. — Alli Sim, beauty and wellness director

La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum
Hyperpigmentation, begone. As someone who suffers from a great deal of acne scars (some self-induced, unfortunately), the release of La Roche-Posay’s latest Mela B3 range excited me a great deal. The new line banks on the inclusion of its all-new Melasyl™ multi-patented molecule, which is meant to intercept excess melanin before it even reaches the skin’s surface—in essence trapping its precursor before it can even form. Out of its triptych of products, the Mela B3 Serum—which combines Melasyl with 10% niacinamide—was put the test on the darker spots that had been plaguing my mien. A few drops of this luxurious peach-hued gel makes for a gentle spread onto my skin, easy to target my areas of concern. Suffice to say, I’ve already been rewarded handsomely with continued use over the past week, with the visible reduction of the acne scars and pigmented areas spread around my cheeks and chin, proving its ability to also prevent already existing melanin-fraught spots from deepening. If this is what it does in just one week, I’ve got high hopes for what my complexion will look like in a month or so. — Azrin Tan, digital writer
