Our clothes may be the most public display of personal expression, but our homes are equally revealing. The colours we gravitate towards, the art and objects we collect, and the furniture we choose to live with form a visual language of their own—one shaped by our own taste and memory. Essentially, how we dress and how we live are different expressions of the same impulse: to make the world around us feel distinctly our own.
This month, Vogue Singapore gave that idea a home: Vogue Living Singapore, a new design and lifestyle platform that made its debut in the October print issue and now extends into a dedicated digital vertical. Under the theme ‘Fashion’s New Habitat’, Vogue Living Singapore explores the increasingly fluid boundaries between fashion and design, through characterful spaces and insight from creative minds.
“More than just chronicling stunning homes and influential trends, the first Vogue Living edition in Southeast Asia aims to celebrate the wealth of talent across the region and the growing intersection between the worlds of fashion, design, and even travel,” says Kissa Castañeda, Contributing Editor of Vogue Living Singapore.

At the heart of the launch is Vogue Living Conversations—a one-day gathering of leading creative voices from around the world at National Gallery Singapore’s Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium on 16 October. Running alongside ABITO, also on view at the gallery, the two programmes create a wider dialogue around the evolving art of living.
“Much like Next in Vogue and Vogue Wellness, Vogue Living Conversations is about taking what we chronicle in our stories and bringing them into the real world. Each of them explores a different part of the Vogue universe, but they share the same ambition: to bring together the people shaping culture today and create a space for thoughtful dialogue and exchange of ideas,” says Natasha Damodaran, Publisher of Vogue Singapore.
What to Expect at Vogue Living Conversations
The truth is, we think about design far more than we realise—whether it’s the bulbous lamp that stops us mid-scroll or the hotel we book partly because we can’t stop thinking about the striking swimming pool. Vogue Living Conversations taps into that everyday curiosity, expanding the conversation from the objects and spaces around us to the bigger ideas shaping how we live. The topics range from ‘The Future City’, which examines Singapore’s continuous urban evolution, to the growing role of design in hospitality placemaking.
Fittingly, the space gets as much thought as the programme. Guests first step into the foyer, where a full Molteni&C lounge offers a place to unwind and network between talks, alongside a display of wardrobe finishes by KKPL, vinyl listening by Audio-Technica and all-day complimentary coffee from Common Man Coffee Roasters. Inside the auditorium, the stage is dressed with furniture by Molteni&C and Flexform | Rosso Italia and illuminated by Sol Luminaire.
The Vogue Living Conversations line-up brings together creative minds whose influence can be felt across the region—from the civic landmarks and celebrated hotels that make our cities more interesting to the furniture, lighting and objects that define our homes. Below, meet some of the speakers and discover the ideas they’ll be bringing to the stage.
