Taking place this year from 26 to 29 January, this season’s couture week is packed with sartorial drama. Kicking things off was Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry, who showed an expressive collection inspired by mystical birds, and raw, unbridled emotion. Not long after, Jonathan Anderson showed his first couture collection with Dior. The collection was a display of dramatic ensembles that were sculptural, both in form and inspiration. Per Anderson, his debut haute couture line drew heavy inspiration from Kenyan-born potter Magdalene Odundo alongside tender elements of nature. Beyond Anderson’s blooming botanical debut, Matthieu Blazy and Silvana Armani also presented their first couture lines with Chanel and Giorgio Armani Privé, respectively, marking an intense season of firsts for the fashion world.
But the electric energy of couture week doesn’t just take place on the runway. True aficionados know that the buzziest moments start right in the streets of Paris, where fashion’s best and most fabulous converge to show off their perfectly-placed ensembles, long before the shows even begin. The Musée Rodin, where Anderson held his show, was one such example. The guest list brimmed with star power, with A-listers such as Rihanna, Greta Lee, Anya Taylor-Joy and Zhou Ye in attendance. Crowds swarmed the venue trying to catch a glimpse of the world’s most stylish celebrities, but who can blame them?
Here, get a closer look at the sleek street ensembles donned by guests at the haute couture spring/summer 2026 shows in Paris.
