Fashion might be her main trade, but that’s not to say that beauty takes a backseat. Meet Putri Adif, the Singaporean stylist making waves for her fearless, avant-garde sensibilities—of which seamlessly translates to her hair, make-up and nail choices. We get the lowdown on what goes into her full face beat, below; from the products that she deems her desert-island essentials to the talon trend she’s been dying to try.
The make-up essential that boosts your confidence
It has to be the Gosh Copenhagen Catchy Eyes Mascara in 003 Crazy Blue. This vivid shade has been my go-to for years and I can’t go back to black or brown. It instantly elevates any make-up look I wear.

All my wellness must-haves
I begin each day by drinking a cup of spearmint tea and lighting the Bibliothèque incense sticks from Byredo. I usually pair this ritual with prayer and manifestations to remind myself of my priorities and to centre my goals and mindset for the day. As someone who struggles with anxiety from personal thoughts, world issues and lack of sleep, I make it a point to start the day well.
The songs that hype me up before a big job
‘Papi bones’ (featuring Shygirl) by FKA Twigs from the Caprisongs album.
My signature fragrance
I mix my signature fragrances depending on the day. My current favourite rotation includes Above Us, Steorra by Aēsop, Oakmoss Amber by Abdul Samad al Qurashi and Santal 33 by Le Labo.

A nail trend that I’ve been dying to try
I’m a bare nails kind of girl. I prefer it when I’m making and sewing. However, I have been dying to try Innai from Nunha. They have a nail henna in dark maroon that I find chic and effortless.
An underrated beauty product I swear by
Got2B Brow Gel has been my holy grail since the feather brow craze. It’s also a great product to have in your bag to do hair touch-ups for fly-aways, edges and slick hairstyles.
What keeps my bold make-up intact
The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, hands down.
The inspiration behind my most audacious make-up looks
Kevyn Aucoin’s ’90s artistry holds a special place in my heart. Every make-up look I create seems to echo his signature neutral tones and enduring essence.

A hair hack that changed my routine for the better
It’s not quite a hack, but a realisation that heat tools are the only way my hair does not look frizzy in this humidity. Just make sure to prep with a good heat protectant before applying it to your mane.
My beauty philosophy
To me, beauty is defined by intention, rooted in identity, and carried with pride through energy. It is what endures when all else falls away.
