Tonight, the 2026 MTV VMAs take place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony, known as one of the biggest nights in music—honouring some of the best albums, music videos, and live performances of the year—is being hosted by rapper Snoop Dogg.
Leading the list of nominees are acts such as Madonna, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ariana Grande. And as for who you’ll see take the main stage? Madonna will open the show, followed by performances from Raye, Lisa, Sombr, Teddy Swims, Shaboozey, and Gunna, among others.
Before it all kicks off, however, the red carpet is set to serve up plenty of statement looks; after all, the VMAs have a long history of seeing stars lean into the bold and avant-garde, from Lil Kim’s purple pasty to Lady Gaga’s meat dress. The VMAs are an opportunity for music’s biggest stars to have some fun, and tonight will surely be no different.
