The 2026 Oscars might be over, but the parties have just begun. Shaking things up, the annual Vanity Fair Oscars bash—the night’s biggest ticket—relocated to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, giving Hollywood’s A-list a preview of the new David Geffen Galleries.
Just before 8 p.m., stars including Rachel Sennot, Nikki Glasser, Chloe Fineman, Mick Jagger, Jane Fonda, and Myha’la were among the first to slowly trickle in. “This is our first Vanity Fair Oscar Party, so we’re just looking forward to being with friends, like Sarah Pidgeon,” the Industry actress told Vogue. “We went to school together, so I’m excited to be reunited.”
Speaking of Pidgeon—her on-screen alter-ego was the inspiration for Glasser’s pared-back after-party beauty look. “I’m not wearing earrings tonight, inspired by Carolyn Besette. I met Sarah the other day in the salon, and I introduced myself and told her how much I loved her, so I’m looking forward to seeing her tonight.”
Pidgeon and her Love Story co-star Paul Anthony Kelly weren’t the only attendees enjoying their inaugural Vanity Fair party. Gold-medalist Alysa Liu, Connor Storrie, and Hudson Williams all made their debut on the silver carpet too. The Heated Rivalry duo quickly cleared the way for Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, who instantly sent the carpet into a standstill upon their arrival. The couple posed together on the carpet before splitting up for individual shots, with the actor stepping back to admire his partner in her feather-adorned gown.
The event also served as date night for Rob Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, and the dynamic sister act of Dakota and Elle Fanning, who attended the event together in coordinating LBDs.
Gucci’s gang made their presence known on the carpet with Kim Kardashian and Laura Harrier both shimmering in gold gowns, while Keke Palmer looked regal in a royal purple velvet sheath from the Italian label.
Later, Kate Hudson appeared with a special date: her son, Ryder Robinson, who held his mom’s chainmail Gucci purse as she posed for photos. Like Jenner, the Running Point star sparkled in a black beaded gown with a mid-drift cut-out.
Aside from the fashion, there was a lot of love for the night’s newly-minted Oscar winners, especially Michael B. Jordan and Sinners. “I’m happy for everybody. All my folks were up there. Me and Michael, we grew up in the industry together, starting out as child actors, so it’s always good to see that,” Palmer gushed. Usher also expressed his excitement. “I was really happy to see Michael B. Jordan have that moment,” the singer said, clad in a Jame Bond-inspired ivory tux. “It’s historic for the community, when you bet on something like Sinners that is an original piece. I was very happy to see Ryan Coogler have the recognition.”
Anna Wintour reflected on presenting at the Oscars alongside The Devil Wears Prada star Anne Hathaway. “It was wonderful to be up there with Anne, poking fun at each other and celebrating such talented costume designers,” Wintour told Vogue. “It was such a great night for film, and I felt all the awards were well distributed.”
Just before midnight, Amy Madigan and Jessie Buckley arrived, both with their newly-engraved statuettes in hand. Buckley had slipped into a sparkling sequin gown, while Madigan kept it cool in a custom textured jacket and embellished top by Dior. “They made this jacket for me, which I love, and I’ve worn more of their looks during awards season. They’ve been very generous,” Madigan said. Still taking it all in, she added: “We went to the Governor’s Ball, of course, and then Warner Brothers had a party and now, we’re here—so we’ll just see how the rest of the evening unfolds.”
