Louis Vuitton unveiled Virgil Abloh’s final collection
The Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2022 show serves as an ode to Abloh’s work for the past eight seasons; the visionary’s swan song after he passed from cardiac angiosarcoma in 2021. The show took place in the ‘Louis Dreamhouse’, a deconstructed home setting featuring chimneys, banquet tables, and more painted in high-octane shades of blue and red. Tyler the Creator composed the music that served as a backdrop to Abloh’s designs encompassing acid-wash puffer jackets, revamped balaclavas, and tie-dyed fur coats.

Louis Vuitton will release their Air Force 1 sneakers on 26 January
The label has confirmed that 200 pairs of the sneakers—designed in collaboration with Nike—will be launched via auction on sothebys.com. They will also be available in limited quantities at Louis Vuitton boutiques worldwide. Proceeds are to be funneled to Virgil Abloh’s ‘Post Modern’ Scholarship Fund, which grants aid for Black fashion students that show academic potential.

French model and actor, Gaspard Ulliel, dies
The face of Chanel fragrances has passed away at 37 after a skiing accident. Reports state that Ulliel collided with another skier at a crossing path, causing severe brain trauma and injuries. He was airlifted to a hospital in Grenoble, and died the next day. He is survived by model-singer girlfriend Gaëlle Piétri and a son.

Messika Paris taps Kendall Jenner to be their new face
