Staged inside the former private apartments at the Musée du Louvre in Paris, the spring/summer 2026 collection by Louis Vuitton placed the show in an interior setting, immediately framing the season around ideas of home and personal space.

Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the collection leaned into a sense of relaxed ease paired with playful details, expressed through contrasting shades and experimental silhouettes, with subtle nods to the allure of 1940s Hollywood filtered through a modish lens.

The notion of home shaped the wardrobe throughout, with garments being associated with indoor dressing—robes, slips, relaxed layers—were reworked into elevated ready-to-wear pieces, melding comfort and femininity.

The fluid silhouettes favoured volume and softness, built around elongated proportions, generous cuts, and billowing forms that gave the collection a relaxed, composed motion that gives the pieces a graceful float.

As for the palette, the hues centred on light tones, including creams, pale blues, and soft greys, while black-lined seams and darker accents added definition and visual focus across garments.

Fabric choices focused on drape and textures, allowing pieces to fall effortless on the body while retaining structure and polish in form.

Detailing appeared through embroidery and jacquard, applied selectively across dresses, separates, and outer layers, reinforcing craftsmanship and material depth without overt decoration.

And accessories followed the same domestic logic, with monogram bags being revisited in softer proportions, cosmetic pouches, and footwear aligned with the lineup’s emphasis on ease and refinement.

Taken as a whole, Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2026 collection presented a wardrobe shaped by the spaces of individual sanctuaries, positioning clothing as an intimate extension of one’s self.
