Inside the grand neo-Renaissance Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II—a fitting setting to spotlight exquisite design and generations of makers—the globe-trotting fashion celebration paid tribute to craftsmanship and the human touch, while raising funds for the Quarto Oggiaro Library in northwestern Milan.
Italy’s historic fashion houses—Prada, Armani, Versace, Ferragamo, Gucci—were invited to create one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the event’s creative theme, worn by generations of models, from Mariacarla Boscono to Gigi Hadid. In an era of pervasive artificial intelligence, the evening offered an opportunity to reflect on the power of human creativity and craftsmanship.
