Since its inception in 1947, H&M has remained the pinnacle of fashion accessibility and inclusivity. Boasting a myraid of intrepid collaborations with luxury houses and an enduring commitment to sustainability, and it is no wonder the brand remains the gold standard in fashion.

For its spring/summer 2025 collection, H&M looked to redefine the ideal of the modern-day woman, split across two chapters. In the first drop, bohemian styles take precedence, melding together references from glam rock stars of the past and the fluid androgyny of the New Romantics era. The garments was imbued with an air of nostalgia, a meeting point of the past and present. Oversized leather outerwear were juxtaposed with delicate sheer dresses, the contrast of hard and soft apt for the modern day zeitgeist. There was a sense of rejuvenation seen throughout; a common thread of life, vitality and light.

The accessories followed suit, by way of slouchy shoulder bags, snake-print slippers and statement fringed sandals alike those from the 70s and 90s. Waist-belts and festival-appropriate biker boots added structure to the otherwise billowy silhouettes, while antique-style pendant necklaces, tassel earrings and aviator shades drove home a sense of reverie. The message was clear: even in the hustle and bustle of urban life, fashion is made for dreamers and free spirits.
