From an early age, Christie Ho drew inspiration from the porcelain, cutlery and decor that now underpin her work at TableTalks. At the studio, her role as creative director spans tablescaping, event styling and interior design.
Naturally, her creative outlook is strengthened by a lifelong engagement with art in all its forms. She was classically trained in ballet and the theatrical arts, and was educated in hospitality, even working at the three-Michelin-starred Les Amis for a period. Today, she channels that wide-ranging life experience into elevating events of every scale with sincerity and elegance.
All events are, by definition, fleeting affairs. Yet Ho and her team strive to infuse social gatherings with a lasting vitality, rooted in a love of nature and art, and expressed through a distinctive mix of classical and contemporary elements. Here, the table is at once a focal point and platform, figurative and literal, purpose-built to serve as the beating heart of gatherings both large and small, extravagant and intimate.

In the realm of tablescaping and event styling, TableTalks’ palette is formidable. Nothing goes amiss with centrepieces, floral arrangements, wares of all kinds (flat, plate, glass) and even designs for invites, name cards and menus. These details are supported by deep interior design expertise that spans lighting, furniture layouts and an array of decorative choices.
Ho’s tripartite work operates with timeless appeal. In and around venues, throughout various events and, naturally, across many different kinds of tables, her approach to style amplifies the beauty of a space by marrying traditional sculptural elements with organic forms. Each venue she has touched undergoes a remarkable transformation—once ordinary, thereafter extraordinary. The venues in question are part of a steadily burgeoning portfolio in some of Asia’s most famous cities.

Singapore, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai have all played host to the studio’s singular vision, which capably juggles sincerity and elegance in equal parts. No gathering, space or event is too lofty (or too humble) for a refined facelift courtesy of TableTalks. Indeed, it has already made waves in esteemed circles as Ho’s clients feature the likes of high-net-worth private clients, Mikimoto and Vogue Singapore.
Most recently, TableTalks collaborated with the latter to grace its third annual Next In Vogue conference. Exquisite floral arrangements adorned all aspects of the three-day landmark affair, from exclusive beauty masterclasses to the heady gala night.

It might be difficult to say ‘the sky’s the limit’ for Ho and company since they have seemingly already ticked all the boxes for their niche in tablescaping and event styling. But perhaps there is no need to reach for further heights of ambition.
After all, tables are, quite often, fairly ordinary objects. They just need a little love to last a little longer in our imaginations, something TableTalks seems more than well-equipped to handle for many more years to come.
