Other than resolutions and detoxes, January can only mean one thing: men’s fall/winter 2024 fashion week. From street style to the catwalks of Milan, London and Paris, no directional fashion look is complete without equally striking hair and beauty statements.
While make-up directors have traditionally played it conservatively on the men’s fashion runways with grooming playing second fiddle to clothes and accessories, one thing stylists always deliver on hot hair and grooming moments. Some labels balanced their need for a commercially-relevant collection with artful make-up led flourishes while others used make-up as a vehicle to bring forward the designer’s vision, case in point: alien-like faces at Rick Owens‘s ‘Porterville’ collection.
Here are our beauty notes from the key shows at men’s fall/winter 2024 fashion shows.
1 / 11
Cornflower blue liner at Achilles Ion Gabriel
Models at Achilles Ion Gabriel’s fall/winter 2024 runway channelled an otherworldly beauty with oversized blackout contacts and eyes underlined in shades of chalky, pastel blue.
2 / 11
Prometheus looking beauty at Rick Owens
Giving a new spin to ‘otherworldly’ beauty, select models that presented Rick Owen’s dystopian fall/winter 2024 collection had blackout lenses and two-tone face paint—transporting them from (or was it to?) another reality. The dark Prometheus-inspired looks perfectly echoed the designer’s sentiment towards his collection and commentary about our current times.
3 / 11
Silver linings at KB Hong
Chinese label KB Hong was a show in refinement, right down to the silver lined eyes. Achieve the look with minimal fuss using Diorshow 24H Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner in 076 Pearly Silver.

Mussed up locks at Todd Sndyer
Pull out your curl cream, boys: curvy ends are back. Models at Todd Snyder fall/winter 2024 charmed us with these locks that hinted at bounce and body. Briogeo‘s Curl Charisma™ Rice Amino + Avocado Leave–In Defining Cream will help you achieve the look.
5 / 11
Clipped bangs at Gucci
Keeping it short and sweet, fringes of models at Gucci’s men’s fall/winter 2024 were kept straight, severe and piecey.
6 / 11
Hi-gloss skin at Dolce & Gabbana
At last: glass skin for the boys. Fresh, luminous skin enlivens any look. Count on Aesop‘s B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel to deliver plump and hydrated skin.

A flush of blush at Fendi
Igari make-up for the lads? Igari make-up for everybody. We love a pop of blush, taken across the cheeks as well as the eyes for a monochrome look. For a warm coral hue, look to M.A.C.‘s cult blush in Melba. To add a cool flush on the skin, try Chanel‘s Joues Contraste Powder Blush in 270 Vibration.

Modern Marcel waves at Andersson Bell
Gatsby Styling Gel Wet & Hard ticks all the right boxes for helping you achieve these modern waves.
