Givenchy Le Rouge Interdit New Satin
For everyday use and hurried days on the go, a satin lipstick will can do no wrong. Givenchy’s make-up creative director Thom Walker came up with ten alluring shades based off the Maison’s iconic couture piece with the Le Rouge Interdit New Satin. At first swipe, I felt the touch of the brand’s signature emblem, with its logo embedded on its tip. I certainly didn’t mind it, but it’s a sensorial take that might or might not be for everyone. The lipstick carries a hydrating formula and holds adequate colour pigment. But perhaps its claim of a six-hour lasting wear didn’t account for food and drink interference. Either way, I appreciated the bullet’s vibrant luminosity, especially in shade Rouge Vermil. — Janice Sim, digital editor

Urban Jungle Dust It Off Exfoliating Powder
At first glance, its powder formula appears baffling. But once you learn how to use it, you get a versatile and gentle exfoliator. They get a bad reputation for stripping moisture away, but this was not the case for this one. The best part about the dispenser? You have full control over the consistency and amount, so you can decide how much suits your skin type.
