Talk about being booked and busy. The artiste in question? South-Korean singer-songwriter Yves, who is currently in the midst of her sold-out Europe tour. Yves first established herself as one to watch during her time as a member of K-Pop girl group, Loona; a six-year venture which eventually led to her debuting as a soloist. And with it, a new sound: one distinctly more experimental in nature and fitting loosely within the genre of alt-pop. It comes as no surprise that this pivot shines through in her beauty choices, too—from sharpened talons to waist-length hair extensions, there is no doubt that Yves is fearless when it comes to self-expression. We sit down with the woman of the hour to find out more, diving deep into her routine to discover the contents of her make-up bag and skincare drawer.
Three make-up favourites you always return to
I swear by the YSL Beauty Rouge Pur Couture in shade #156 Nu Transgression. Its finish sits perfectly between matt and glowing, and the warm undertone suits even those with a cool skin tone. The Clio Pro Eye Palette Air Heritage Edition in #20 Plum
Blossom Ribbon offers soft, muted shades for a clean-girl look. And the Lilybyred Luv Beam Cheek Balm in #12 Hearty Pink Beige is a creamy, buildable blush that works beautifully as a base or cream shadow without feeling heavy.

My signature fragrance
I layer these three scents together:Keyth’s At Her Apartment, Pesade’s De Nude and Tom Ford’s White Suede Eau de Parfum.
My essential skincare staples
I love the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid 100 Moisturizing Cream—it locks in moisture like nothing else. The Medicube Collagen Glow Booster Milk Serum balances oil and hydration while smoothing texture. Meanwhile, the VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 boosts absorption and leaves my skin deeply hydrated by morning.
My hair care picks
I use scalp treatments while shampooing and always apply the Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask for softness. Since styling takes a toll, I layer strengthening ampoules from CNK Lab and Refilled.

A make-up trend I’m keen to try
’90s Chanel runway make-up—classic, seductive, timeless. I’d love to put my own twist on that glamour.
My go-to body care products
I mix the L:a Bruket 307 Body Lotion Hinoki with the Skin U Inno:Scent Deep Musk Body Oil. It completely transformed my
skin’s hydration.
An underrated product I love
Any lip product from Alternative Stereo—their glossy textures with subtle, layered colours are beautifully made. My favourite is the Lip Potion Caramel Glaze in 01 Milk Caramel.

A retro trend begging to return
If 2026 is about colour liberation in fashion, I hope make-up follows, too. Bold green eyeshadow, deep red lips—vibrant shades should feel natural every day.
A wellness hack that has changed my life
Yoga and meditation before bed. I like to brew tea slowly, too. And when I can’t sleep, I put my phone down and read instead.
