Rounding off yet another illustrious Fashion Week season, Vogue World Hollywood 2025 has officially descended. With it, there’s been no shortage of glamour and arresting style moments—both fashion- and beauty-wise—to feast our eyes upon. From front-row celebrity arrivals to backstage beauty moments, inspiration for dazzling hair and make-up looks was rife. And, of course, particular attention is owed to the trove of show-stopping celebrity beauty looks seen on the event’s runway.
A number of stars turned out to make cameos on the catwalk. Among them: Julia Garner faithfully recreating Marie Antoinette, Nicole Kidman paying homage to the 1946 film Gilda with vintage-style finger waves, and Jodie Turner-Smith embodying Astrofuturism.
Legendary industry figure Pat McGrath served as the lead make-up artist for Vogue World, creating signature looks for each of the starring celebrities and models. This was no small task, given that the show was divided into seven thematic acts—namely Hollywood Glamour, The Renegades, Historical Heroines, Summer of Love, Avant-Garde, Afrofuturism and New World. Each was inspired by a different film, and to accomplish the feat, McGrath was accompanied by a team of 50 make-up artists to deliver on these briefs.
“To me, Hollywood has always meant fantasy,” McGrath muses on the show. “It’s the stuff of dreams. It’s the past, it’s the future, and it’s so much more to come.”
Without further ado, read on for Vogue Singapore’s selection of the best beauty looks from this year’s Vogue World:

1 / 10
Nicole Kidman
She’s a box office bombshell in her own right, and perhaps that’s why Nicole Kidman’s homage to Old Hollywood siren Rita Hayworth was so convincing. Red lipstick and polished finger waves are right on cue.

2 / 10
Julia Garner
To look the part of storied queen Marie Antoinette, getting the hair right is a must. To this end, Julia Garner was in safe hands. Bouffant, rose-adorned locks and a powdered, flushed complexion hits the mark.

3 / 10
Ayo Edebiri
Walking in the Hollywood Glamour section of the show, Ayo Edebiri hits the runway in an all-gold outfit also worn on her recent Vogue cover. Accompanying its opulence is a crowning glory of flowing curls with slick, gelled roots and edges.

4 / 10
Kendall Jenner
In an ensemble from Moulin Rouge, Kendall allows its glamour to take centre stage by keeping her base to classic, bronzed neutrals.

5 / 10
Angela Bassett
Reprising her role as Queen Ramonda from Black Panther, Angela Bassett radiates opulence through a coordinating beauty look featuring smokey eyes, illuminated cheekbones and a sculpted lip.

6 / 10
Elizabeth Debicki
Taking her place on the runway, Elizabeth Debicki looks every inch the vintage vixen—with a bold pout and defining blusher sealing the elegant deal.

7 / 10
Jodie Turner-Smith
Embodying Astrofuturism for her segment of the show, it’s all sleek chic for Jodie Turner-Smith. The actress delivers with silky, flowing tresses and a hyper-illuminated mien, from her cheekbones to her glossy pout.

8 / 10
Laura Harrier
Perpetually glamorous Laura Harrier pairs her flapper-style gown with softly cascading waves and shades of dusty pink across her cheeks and lips.

9 / 10
Doja Cat
Trust Doja Cat to epitomise avant-garde statement-making. In her case, there’s no looking past an asymmetrical, voluminous mane and bold make-up touches.

10 / 10
Quintessa Swindell
The beauty brief is bold—and Quintessa Swindell hits it out of the park. On the hair front, volume is dialled up all the way, and her patterned gown is perfectly suited to a deep smokey eye and vivid lips.
