Liu Wen is Vogue Singapore’s March cover star. Themed ‘Creativity’, the issue is part of a global push uniting all 27 editions of Vogue to celebrate fashion’s artistic spirit, following the success of September’s ‘Hope’ issue. Shot by one of Asia’s most visionary photographers, Leslie Zhang, Liu graces the cover in a full Prada look from Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada’s first co-collection.
Applying his astute eye for beauty, Zhang transformed Liu into a theatrical muse, shifting shapes in a dreamy cover story inspired by iconic Chinese literature—including ‘Moonlight over the Lotus Pond’ by Zhu Ziqing, ‘A Waterfall of Purple Wisteria Vines’ by Zong Pu and ‘April Rhapsody’ by Lin Huiyin. The cover also features a striking ‘Creativity’ seal, a modern reinterpretation of traditional Chinese seals created by Jiahui Tan from award-winning Singapore design consultancy, Fable.
