For cruise 2026, Alessandro Michele shifts the narrative setting from last season’s washrooms to the in-between of a hotel room. For Nocturne, the campaign unfolds in that soft, transitional space, brought to life by a star studded cast: Dakota Johnson, Tate McRae, Marisa Berenson, Dev Hynes, Anne Imhof and Devon Teuscher.

The accompanying resort look book extends that mood into a wardrobe imagined with playful femininity at its core. Chiffon dresses float in candy-pink tones; cropped cardigans edged with lace sit alongside pencil skirts trimmed with feathers; and girlish cut-out dresses carry a sweetness sharpened by Michele’s instinct for contrast. Leopard coats, bright reds, tweed sets, crystal jewellery, pearls, bows, heart motifs and airy sheer pieces build a palette that is both gentle and full of personality. Floral embroideries, ruffles and ‘70s and ‘80s influences bring a sense of nostalgia, while mini silhouettes, printed jackets and feather-kissed satin pieces keep the collection light on its feet. The evening offering builds on this, moving from tulle gowns with matching capes richly worked in sequins to more sleek, essential dresses.

Among the season’s key accessories, the Valentino Garavani Panthea bag returns after its debut in Le Méta-Théâtre Des Intimités. Its structured form is shaped by sculptural detailing and metallic finishes, crowned by two enamelled feline heads edged in gold and crystals. Crafted from matte and waxed nappa in a refined chevron pattern, the carryall comes in medium and small sizes and appears in shades of black, mud green and beige, alongside versions in suede and precious skins, with an optional eyelet-detailed shoulder strap.

The DeVain expands the Vain family with a freer, more fluid interpretation—stripped back with a considered simplicity. Its name plays on the feeling of being divine in your own way, merging a Nineties spirit with a sense of present-day authenticity. The range spans monochrome nappa, metallic finishes, denim, crochet raffia, shearling embellished with multicolour strass, and more artisanal expressions in precious skins, beadwork, garlands and velvet.
