C-pop star Tia Lee has had a big year. First came ‘Goodbye Princess’—Lee’s first musical release after a creative hiatus. Launched to monumental reception, Lee’s comeback was accompanied by an animated video series and a globally viral dance challenge aimed at female empowerment.
Since stepping back into the limelight, Lee has also found her place in the fashion world—adding personal style to her repertoire of avenues for creative expression, alongside music, dance and acting. She made her fashion debut at London Fashion Week in February this year, gracing the front rows of key London-based designers whose creations are mainstays in her wardrobe.
London Fashion Week, of course, has a special place within the fashion month calendar, boasting a unique mixture of established designers and emerging labels. Spanning from lauded powerhouses like Richard Quinn to up-and-coming trailblazers like Susan Fang, the London shows see it-girls like FKA Twigs and Hailey Bieber regularly in attendance.
They hence provide the perfect runway for Lee to put her burgeoning style sensibilities on full display. As her street style looks and front-row ensembles have exemplified, Lee rarely shies away from statement pieces—even while embracing a largely monochromatic colour palate that serves to bring out her penchant for texture and volume. Mixing lace and leather with ease, it is clear that she is a style maven in the making, with a proclivity for hyper-feminine silhouettes that, in her own words, “are bold, powerful pieces that empower women.”
With rumours of a tour next year swirling on social media, find a line-up of Lee’s best looks from the past season, alongside her own take on personal style and how it lends itself to her core message of female empowerment.

Tia Lee in Moncler
“I am wearing a white ostrich feather Moncler Maya coat, from Moncler’s 70th anniversary collaboration with Giambattista Valli. I paired it with a Moncler polo neck top, skirt, and sunglasses, before finishing the look with glittery mesh boots from Balenciaga. Like Moncler’s rich history, the continued evolution of the classic Maya is symbolic of an endless pursuit of excellence. In Giambattista Valli’s creation, his signature plume is the crowning detail.”

Tia Lee in Julien Macdonald
“This is the Julien Macdonald fall/winter 2023 show, where I was dressed in a tailored, crystal-embroidered lace slip dress complete with a flowing black chiffon cape. This look was hand-picked straight from the collection he was showing. I am also wearing heels from Gina and accessories from Jessica McCormack. Julien is the king of glamour—he never disappoints when it comes to creating bold and powerful pieces that empower women. I was absolutely honoured to witness the unveiling of this collection.”

Tia Lee in David Koma
“David Koma’s modern and edgy style adds a subtle yet flattering statement to every outfit, which allows me to exude confidence at any event. I am wearing a shimmering two-piece suit in silver designed by him, styled with a bomber jacket and boots. The look would not be complete without added shine from diamond chain earrings by Amina Muaddi and the Noir Sleek sunglasses from Gentle Monster.”

Tia Lee in Richard Quinn
“Richard Quinn’s designs are always breathtaking with their use of prints and embroidery, and this embroidered coat from his spring/summer 2023 collection was no exception. I paired the look with a teardrop-shaped headpiece from Victoria Grant, Jimmy Choo suede platform sandals and Theo Fennel pearl earrings.”

Tia Lee in Susan Fang
“I am wearing the Mega Bow Laser Cut dress from Susan Fang’s spring/summer 2023 collection. I am also holding a shell beaded purse from Lulu Guinness, and I finished the look with crystal blue earrings from Vicki Sarge and Gina’s Copper High Heels. Susan’s distinctive designs are always a delight to behold, with colourful and dreamy motifs that transport us around the world.”

Tia Lee in Richard Quinn
“This is another masterpiece from Richard Quinn’s spring/summer 2023 collection, a leotard finished with elaborate floral lace. This was the very first outfit I wore to London Fashion Week earlier this year, and I love how elegant the design is. I accessorised the look with sparkling Kat Maconie Stargazers and striking gold and black earrings from Elhanati.”
