In the mood for love? Well, so are we. In a single lifetime, few things feel like forever. But perhaps, on one candlelit evening every year, something comes real close. Valentine’s Day may not be for everyone, but every now and then, someone shares a love story for the ages—and it lights up the cosmos. For some, it may just be a fun little reason to doll up, score a cute new dress, and an even cuter date, but we’re fairly certain Cupid has some actual plans brewing in his cauldron. You know, for the chosen ones.
But we’re not fussed. We could be amongst the lucky few…or we’ll gladly be the bystanders for some serious matchmaking. There is, after all, something special about watching two people click in front of our very eyes. Some of our favourite Internet couples have definitely caught onto this. They’re sharing casual snippets of the little world they’ve built together; from coffee dates to dance challenges and their travels around the globe. Vogue being Vogue, our attention’s notably fallen on the most stylish duos of them all. Like the impossibly suave Norway-based couple Yasmin Hero and David Vu, always on top of those smooth moves and even more insane outfit reveals. Then there’s Japanese couple Aki and Koichi, drawing adoration from all over the world for their OOTD videos. Closer to home? There’s Alicia and Wei Bin, the epitome of your aesthetic matcha girlie, with her goofy (yet stylish) partner-in-crime.
All of them, blessed with a knack for sartorial goodness and knowing what makes the world go round. So we’re always clamouring for more. As we swerve into 14 February territory, we jumped at the opportunity to see how these stylish TikTok couples would fire up their V-day game—and take it to the next level. From influencing each other’s personal style to the fashion-adjacent gifts they would want to bestow upon their partners, here’s a glimpse at how these fashion-forward couples will be keeping the flame alive this Valentine’s Day, the Vogue Singapore edition.

Yasmin and David
How would you describe each other’s personal style?
Yasmin: I feel like David’s style blends both Scandinavian minimalism with a Japanese touch. He loves wearing knitwear and layers, rich greens and deep reds that add warmth to his looks. His outfits are super clean and relaxed, usually including oversized fits. I’d say his style is timeless, but with a hint of challenge.
David: I think Yasmin’s style is heavily influenced by Japanese silhouettes, a lot of it inspired by anime, which she loves. Her iconic looks are often based in layering and unique shirts, where she balances a more structured look with a subtle feminine touch.
Do you think you’ve influenced each other’s style?
Yasmin: David pushes me to wear more colours, since I usually tend to stick to my blacks and blues!
David: Yasmin is my style icon, so most of my style is influenced by her.
What is something you wish you could steal from your partner’s wardrobe?
David: All of her pants!
Yasmin: I love his black multi-pocket jacket from Ancients Studio.
Gifts Yasmin would give to David:
I would gift him this large Loewe puzzle bag because I know he loves his leathers and its durability; I also saw him eyeing this through the window a while back. David has been looking for the perfect white shirt for some time now, and I think he would love this one. Both of us love Diemme, especially since we’re from Norway where it’s very cold for most of the year. The boots I picked out would help with isolation, warmth but also add a super nice touch to David’s looks.
Gifts David would give to Yasmin:
Yasmin has talked about buying her first designer bag for a while now. Her eyes have been all over the large Andiamo bag from Bottega Veneta, so my first gift would definitely be this one. I have to include a shirt in the gift list, and with a recent drop from her favourite brand Commes Des Garcons…I couldn’t possibly pick something from any other brand. Yasmin’s birth stone is the blue sapphire, so Tom Wood’s Kaleidoscope Ring Sora would fit perfectly.

Alicia and Wei Bin
How would you describe each other’s personal style?
Alicia: I would describe his style as classic and casual with an occasional pop of colour.
Wei Bin: Effortless, casual and chic.
Do you think you’ve influenced each other’s style?
Alicia: Definitely, we tend to share clothes quite often especially when we travel. I tend to borrow his outerwear and he usually borrows a hat or accessory from me.
Wei Bin: I think we both have our distinct styles when it comes to fashion, but we do seek out each other’s advice when it comes to making a clothing purchase.
What is something you wished you could steal from your partner’s wardrobe?
Alicia: I would steal his most recent purchase from our Shanghai trip which is a Amomento vegan leather jacket.
Wei Bin: Definitely one of her many bags. Alicia has a diverse collection of bags from niche brands to vintage designer and thrifted finds.
Gifts Alicia would give to Weibin:
He has been eyeing a pair of selvedge jeans, and this loose-fit pair is something that I think suits him. I picked out a refill of an Aesop perfume which he uses everyday and as for the coffee table book…I think it’s perfect for any guy who loves admiring interiors, especially Japanese ones.
Gifts Weibin would give to Alicia:
She loves a good large bag to fit all her belongings and I picked out these Miu Miu glasses because a pair of prescription glasses is something you just can’t go wrong with for lazy days. The Loewe candle is something she’s been eyeing for a while now!

Aki and Koichi
How would you describe each other’s personal style?
Aki: Koichi favours quality over quantity. His style is classic and sophisticated, infused with a fresh feel and a touch of prep.
Koichi: Aki’s personal taste dictates her wardrobe, not the latest fashion trends. She’s always dressed according to her own preferences. Her style is completely her own—individualistic and unique.
Do you think you’ve influenced each other’s style?
Aki: My husband has always been supportive of my fashion choices. His acceptance of my self-expression through clothing definitely helps with the confidence to fully embrace my personal style.
Koichi: When I first met my wife, I already knew what I liked to wear. But she’s excellent at shopping for me, often finding pieces I wouldn’t have considered on my own, and she has a fantastic eye for what looks good.
What is something you wished you could steal from your partner’s wardrobe?
Aki: We have a habit of borrowing each other’s sweaters. Since I like wearing things with an oversized fit, it’s convenient for both of us. I recently borrowed his Comme des Garçons cardigan on a trip.
Koichi: I found these glasses for Aki on a recent trip to Mallorca at a small boutique. I liked them so much that I borrowed them for a recent shoot.
Gifts Aki would give to Koichi:
My husband loves Buck Mason and owns this tee in a few colours. It’s the only tee he goes for in his closet so I’d add a classic white tee in the mix. My daughter bought a Warehouse jacket years ago for herself and it now belongs to Koichi. He loves the quality at Warehouse so I’d get him these jeans, which he is very picky about. He already has the Gregory’s from Oliver Peoples but I recently saw him trying the Cary’s on at the store. I think you can see that we are both creatures of habit and gravitate towards the same things.
Gifts Koichi would give to Aki:
Aki doesn’t like surprises so she helped me choose these items herself. That’s one thing about Aki, she won’t wear pieces that she doesn’t like so it’s been a rule to run things by her before purchasing them. To explain some of the potential buys…Lakshmi is one of her favourite brands, so we can’t go wrong there. As for the Tabis, she has them in maroon, and since she loves silver, I figured a pair might come in handy for her.
