“I pictured a woman of the world, insatiably curious, and for whom every journey is a source of inspiration,” says Longchamp creative director Sophie Delafontaine, whose starting point for fall/winter 2026 was a life shaped by travel. That woman sets the tone, gathering references from the world around her and carrying them into her wardrobe. The same pensive mood comes through here within warm wooden interiors, where natural light draws attention to the silhouettes and their tactile finishes.

For fall/winter, the outdoors becomes a reference point, with workwear influences appearing through relaxed silhouettes and a mineral palette grounded in beige and khaki. Brighter shades surface throughout in matcha green and sky blue, while Longchamp’s leather takes on patent, embossed and metallic finishes.

Accessories, too, remain central to the idea of a wardrobe built around life in transit—with pieces such as Le Cadence, a bag that reflects the collection’s tactile focus—and proportion coming into play across the silhouettes. And it is through the brand’s collaboration with Brussels-based textile artist Caroline Hélain that the season’s landscapes come through most vividly. Her work begins with fabrics cut freehand and assembled into abstract scenes drawn from nature. Hélain created nine landscapes for the house, which Longchamp translates through its own leatherwork and ready-to-wear.

Her imagery appears painstakingly stitched across the Daylong bags and expands over knitwear, while a sleeveless calf-leather top evokes dunes beneath blue sky through bouclé virgin wool. For Hélain, it marks the first time her landscapes have been translated onto clothing, and by the end, the season reads almost like a visual travelogue, with each place leaving behind a trace in the pieces themselves.
