Over the last 20 years, Longchamp and Jeremy Scott have built one of fashion’s longest-running collaborations. First launched in 2006, the partnership took the maison’s famed Le Pliage bag and turned it into a canvas for Scott’s bold imagination, bringing his pop-led visual world into one of the brand’s most recognisable designs. Now, the pair reunite in New York to celebrate two decades of creative exchange with a new limited-edition Le Pliage bag, unveiled at the brand’s SoHo flagship, La Maison Unique.

Across the years, the American designer has reworked the familiar foldable nylon silhouette with his graphic visual language, transforming Le Pliage into a collector’s piece. His designs speak to the spirit of travel at the heart of the French luxury house, with each edition carrying a very clear sense of place. On the reverse of the silhouette, Scott leaves his own postcard-style sign-off: “Wish you were here! Love, Jeremy.”

The latest chapter arrives as Greetings from New York, a limited-edition piece inspired by Manhattan’s skyline and the nostalgic charm of handwritten postcards. It extends Scott’s ‘Greetings from’ series for the brand, following earlier designs dedicated to Paris, Hollywood and Paradise. Here, New York becomes the focus, turning the bag into a keepsake of the creative’s long-running relationship with the city and the French maison.

And to mark the occasion, a celebration was hosted at La Maison Unique, turning the SoHo flagship into an extension of Scott’s world. The maison also staged a ‘Jeremy Scott for Longchamp’ retrospective , looking back on the creative legacy of the collaboration through archival pieces and recent designs. Outside, the flagship was wrapped in a monumental façade featuring the print of Scott’s first ‘Telephone’ bag, set against an eye-catching turquoise background.
By returning to the bag that started it all, Longchamp and Jeremy Scott turn their anniversary into a reminder of why the partnership still works. After 20 years, the collaboration still brings a sense of fun to one of the luxury brand’s most adored pieces.
