It’s finally Paris’s turn to shine as the men’s 2025 fall/winter shows make their way to the French capital. With Louis Vuitton starting things strong, the house brought night one of fashion week to a stunning close. Never one to miss an opportunity to integrate music, art and style, creative director Pharrell Williams presented the new collection in collaboration with Kenzo’s artistic director Nigo atop a glossy vault-inspired runway at the Louvre, with stars and ambassadors like J-hope, Travis Scott, GOT7‘s BamBam, Jackson Wang and more in attendance.
On the runway, the chemistry between Williams and longtime friend Nigo was palpable. Drawing inspiration from the past and present of streetwear, the collection seamlessly elevated street staples like varsity jackets and camo pants with intricate details, softer colour palettes and rich textures. To accompany, the show’s star-studded soundtrack—which featured the likes of Seventeen, The Weeknd, Playboi Carti and more–was also curated by Williams himself, where he made sure to showcase his love for music and fashion.
Now that day one is done and dusted, there’s plenty more to await—with the likes of Kenzo, Hermés and Dior set to present their menswear collections over the next few days. But it’s not just the runways that deserve our attention—while it’s still early in the week, showgoers have been putting their very best forward despite the gloomy Parisian winter. Comfort is the name of the game this season, with celebrities keeping warm within the winter staples of relaxed trousers, oversized coats and jackets.
That’s not to say anybody has left style out in the cold, though, with many attendees making sure to include outrageous pops of colour, playful textures and silhouettes in their outerwear of choice. Others, like artist and LV-collaborator Takashi Murakami opted to showcase their personalities through quirky accessories, from dog-shaped purses to the odd multicoloured glove.
