The countdown has officially begun; as Vogue Singapore’s multi-day landmark affair returns for its second iteration. It was just last year when we launched our inaugural edition, in a two-day extravaganza of beauty masterclasses in the Vogue Glam Room, an awe-spiring fashion display of emerging designers in the Vogue Closet and not forgetting, insightful panels with global and regional change makers via Next in Vogue Conversations. The goal was simple for the panels: for industry experts to convene and discuss various fashion- innovation-led topics, each offering their valued perspectives. Well, Next in Vogue 2024 will be no different, only this time we’re peeking far into fashion’s future and discussing the groundbreaking technologies that will lead us there.
Next in Vogue 2024 will unfurl across both The Capitol Kempinski Hotel and the iconic Capitol Theatre on 16 and 17 October, with a focus on the lens of innovation. This year’s star-studded lineup of speakers and activations includes a veritable who’s who of the industry’s best responsible for some of the most enduring ideas of our time.

Last year, we welcomed Emily in Paris star and songbird Ashley Park as our celebrity speaker and this year, Oscar-nominated actor Stephanie Hsu, the actor best known for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, will be part of Vogue Conversations’ illustrious lineup. Hsu’s rousing acting career began in experimental theatre, where she first broke out in Broadway roles. She gained further recognition for her supporting role in The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel before earning an Academy nod for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once, the sci-fi hit which swept seven awards at the 95th Academy Awards last year. Most recently, Hsu shone as Kat in the modern-comedy Joy Ride.

Come 16 October, Hsu will be joined in conversation by Vogue Singapore’s fashion features editor Maya Menon, to discuss the intersections between fashion and film. Hsu will share more about her dynamic career, including an upcoming series, while exploring how fashion enhances an actor’s character and serves as a tool for self-expression. The dialogue will examine how both film and fashion tackle societal issues and drive inclusivity within the industry, highlighting the transformative interplay between storytelling and style. But of course, the brilliant actor is far from being the only one to sit down together with us at Next in Vogue 2024. Our previously announced list of speakers include fashion designers Chet Lo and Gaurav Gupta; Gabriel Tan, founder and creative director of Gabriel Tan Studio; and Liz Bacelar, global tech innovation director at The Estée Lauder Companies.
