Now that we’re well into 2026, a pressing question looms: what is the biggest hair change we’re going to witness from our favourite personalities and celebrities this year? 2025 saw a wave of jaw-grazing, precisely-cut bobs on the small screen, with The Summer I Turned Pretty and Emily in Paris demonstrating the transformative quality of a big chop. Then there was Pamela Anderson, who showed up at the Paris Fashion Week spring/summer 2026 presentations sporting freshly dyed strawberry blonde locks. Ariana Grande, too, adopted a glossy chestnut brown hue after three years of being ‘Glinda blonde.’ And of course, we can’t forget Korean artiste Hwasa’s bixie; an unforeseen move meant to symbolise the singer’s shift into a new musical space. Amidst all these monumental mane moves and makeovers, it stands to reason that you, too, are toying with the idea of a change-up. On that note, Vogue Singapore is here to help with an edit of Singapore’s best hair salons in 2026. Categorised according to services they specialise in—and treatments we’ve personally tried, we present a comprehensive curation of the most noteworthy establishments and procedures.

Best salon in Singapore for a perm: Chez Vous: Hideaway
Would you like your chemical service with a side of hair nourishment? Because that’s precisely what you’re getting at Chez Vous with their 15-step perm process. In homage to the viral multi-step Korean scalp spas, the team at Chez Vous: HideAway has come up with a system that amalgamates “molecular-level hair repair and sensorial wellness rituals.” This translates to elements of scalp and strand recovery all throughout your chemical procedure to ensure you leave with your noggin in the pink of health. Think along the lines of a herbal scalp aloe essence, oxyinfusion bubble mask and EMS microcurrent therapy; a full-scale and indulgent pampering affair.
What’s more, there is something to be said about Chez Vous: Hideaway’s perm expertise. My stylist, Kelly, crafted a layered and light cut for me that perfectly complemented the type of perm I had requested for, allowing for the curls to really shine whilst also being low-effort enough that daily maintenance constitutes only styling mousse and a blow dry. Having completed countless masterclasses and training in perms specifically across Korea, China and Taipei, it’s safe to say that you’re in good hands—especially if you’re undecided on the type of curl pattern and/or wave that is best suited to your visage. — Emily Heng, beauty editor

Best salon in Singapore for a solid cut and dye job: Kim Robinson
Should you fancy a complete transformation, there’s nothing quite like a fresh dye to press reset on the new year ahead. It was certainly what I sought out for when I booked myself in at Kim Robinson. There’s a serious amount of thought that goes into any one appointment here, from its KR Face Matrix™—a specialised and personalised approach to analysing individual facial proportions and bone structure to recommend the most ideal haircut—to its signature colour weaving technique. At the expert hands of the salon’s in-house colourist who began my session with a simple personal colour analysis (to determine that a warm, honey brown would be perfect for my skin tone), she deftly worked a delightfully fresh gradient of browns into my new bixie cut.
Coupling it with a comprehensive scalp treatment and plenty of protectants, my scalp and hair health was ensured all throughout. I emerged with tresses anew; some strands light-catching, some strands left to blend into the background. What I noticed in the days after was how it graduated into adoring new tones—which I loved playing around with and styling differently every morning. But the real kicker comes with its complimentary extraordinary follow-up program where my stylists invited me back for length touch-ups and even a hair glossing session to extend its lifespan. Talk about a transformation. — Azrin Tan, senior digital writer
