Sweltering heat and a cloud of haze swallowed this particular Tuesday afternoon, but that didn’t stop a strong crowd of fans from gathering outside ION Orchard. They were all eager for a glimpse of a certain F1 driver—none other than TGR Haas F1’s Ollie Bearman. He touched down on Sunday for the Singapore Grand Prix, but not before making a pitstop at Vetreska, where he fronts its ‘Fast Life. Reimagined’ campaign as brand partner.

It’s a kismet collaboration—Bearman is an ardent dog lover. “It’s a really cool and interesting collaboration for me. It’s the first I’ve seen, at least in my sport, between an athlete and a pet brand. It’s nice to be pioneering this, and I’m really proud of my team for finding such an incredible collaboration,” he shares. Vetreska’s playful and stylish pet gear conjoins owner and pet effortlessly, injecting vibrant colour and whimsy into the seemingly mundane act of simply bringing your four-legged one out for a walk. Inspired by the electric world of Formula 1 and the unyielding power behind motorsport, the brand’s Circuit collection arrives on Singapore’s shores for the first time.

Naturally, the collaborative relationship called for a grand celebration. With the F1 driver in town, Vetreska partnered with Vogue Singapore to host a high-octane afternoon at its ION Orchard pop-up surrounded by pets, paw-rents and Bearman at the centre of it all. His lighthearted charm filled the room as he sat down with Vogue Singapore’s editor-in-chief Desmond Lim for an intimate fireside chat, sharing his excitement about returning to the Singapore circuit, adapting to the region’s heat and humidity, and a heartfelt tale or two about Freddie and Ruby, his beloved dogs who star alongside him in the ‘Fast Life. Reimagined’ campaign.

Then came the most glamorous part of all: the doggy fashion show. It was a fur-filled affair as paw-rents strut down the race track with their fashionable four-legged friends in tow, fully decked out in Vetreska gear, of course. The judges panel proved formidable, consisting of our very own Desmond Lim, Vetreska co-founder Nico Li and ION Orchard CEO Yeo Mui Hong, incisively rating each walk. The top scorers went home with a limited-edition Vetreska kit.

The guests gathered for one last hurrah as Bearman snapped a group picture, before guests were left to their own devices to explore the sporty new Circuit collection. With the hands-free rope leash, poop bag dispenser, drawstring bag and collectible charm, the collection sees functionality meet the exuberant thrill of the fast life—just so you can jazz up your daily walks or park time with a little more excitement. As dusk fell, one thing was certain: these dogs could walk the talk, and were the real champions of the day.
