It’s been four years since Vogue Singapore first put itself on the map as a leading fashion authority in the region. Since 2020, we’ve been pushing the boundaries for what we can do—from dreaming up wholly fresh and innovative covers to introducing new and insightful pillars meant to acquaint you with the rising creative voices of our current landscape. All in the hopes of building a community: one that is constantly on the pulse of the industry, whilst being able to hold space for important and empowering conversations.
By way of expanding our reach even further, 2023 saw the launch of Next In Vogue. A landmark multi-day event that saw the leading voices of our industry come together to engage in a multitude of purposefully-curated activities and panel discussions—all surrounding the interesting intersections between fashion, beauty, technology and culture.
And in October 2024, Next In Vogue will return. Only this time around, we’re honing in on one idea: innovation. For this year’s iteration, Vogue Singapore will be exploring the realms we hold dear through the lens of innovation, with an emphasis on its impact on the local creative industry. As for what this might look like?
Nothing short of exhaustive. To tease the full scale of 2024’s landmark affair, we gathered a throng of industry leaders, cherished partners and fellow creatives and artists for an intimate preview of what to expect from this year’s Next In Vogue. Held at the 15 Stamford Restaurant at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel—where this year’s multi-day affair will be hosted—the buzzing, excitable audience was treated to a first look at what we had in store for everyone this year.
With appetites fully satiated by the team at 15 Stamford Restaurant, it wasn’t long before Vogue Singapore’s publisher, Bettina von Schlippe, greeted the guests with an opening address and unveiled what was to come.
Set to be held from 16 to 18 October, there’s nowhere like The Capitol Kempinski Hotel and The Capitol Theatre—which perfectly blend heritage and modernity all in one locale—to play host to our extensive three-day affair. It will kick off like it did last year: with Vogue Conversations, a series of engaging conferences that seek to dive even deeper into the impact of AI on the creative industry. For the first two days, laureate speakers and distinctive names from across the world will be offering their indispensable insights to a wide-eyed audience. The iconic Capitol Theatre will doubtlessly be the best spot for such invaluable conversation, before it is transformed further for our Gala Dinner on the last evening. To up the ante for edutainment even further, we’ll also be introducing Next In Vogue On Air—a podcast studio by Poddster dedicated to bringing you succinct content tidbits from our ongoing Vogue Conversations. Also at The Capitol Theatre? The exciting return of the Vogue Closet, which will be showcasing a curation of some of the best celebrity red carpet moments by Asian designers.
Meanwhile, over at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel , the Vogue Glam Room also makes its comeback. There’s no question that the beauty-inclined can look forward to entering the Vogue Glam Room once again, where make-up masterclasses will take on new dimension with the latest trends of the moment, and an interactive section of some of the most innovative beauty brands will be on display. We will also be introducing the Vogue Innovation Showcase, a never-before-seen digital fashion experience that demands full immersion in a transportive experience spanning augmented reality and fantastical game worlds. Beyond a Networking Lounge that will also be located at the hotel, there will also be a multitude of other fringe activities occurring elsewhere during the multi-day event, all meant to expand your horizons and add to the buzz of Next In Vogue.
And it doesn’t stop there. Everything will culminate in the Gala Dinner, which will unfurl on 18 October at The Capitol Theatre. For Vogue Singapore’s fourth anniversary, expect a magical evening of fashion and culture, as cherished members of the community will come together to celebrate with us. To end it on a high, we’ll also be announcing the winners of Vogue Talent Prize 2024 and Vogue Singapore x BMW Innovation Prize 2024.
