In the blink of an eye, fall/winter 2022-2023’s haute couture shows have come and gone. And while intricate gowns and billowing trains were aplenty, fashion aficionados have long admired haute couture shows for their unparalleled attention to detail in the form of accessories, too.
Enter Lenskart, an international eyewear brand—with stores in Singapore, India and more—that recently made its debut at Paris haute couture fashion week. Founded by former Microsoft employee Peyush Bansal in 2010, Lenskart has since established itself as a go-to destination for contemporary, versatile and innovative eyewear options. And that’s not to say that the brand has forgotten about its fashion-forward customers, either.

Keeping in line with its slogan of “Do More, Be More”, the brand’s latest offerings were presented in tandem with Indian designer and industry veteran, Rahul Mishra. Having staked his claim as being one of the pioneering Indian names to show at haute couture fashion week, the collaboration between both brands proves both momentous and meaningful. “Our ‘The Tree of Life’ collection celebrates opulence with a strong palette of gold and black and focuses on high precision, craftsmanship and construction. This has revolutionised and disrupted the eyewear market in India and gained a commendable footprint in the global landscape,” explains Mishra in the brand’s press notes.

This was manifested in the form of four eyewear pieces—three black square frames and a longer rose-tinted rectangular option—accented with sparkling, gold fauna. Paired with Mishra’s embroidered creations, each pair served as the perfect standout accoutrement to his contemporary yet traditional couture creations. And while these gold-dusted offerings are not available to shop just yet, those looking for a new pair of fashion-forward peepers can browse the brand’s The Paris Edit which also boasts a slew of options fresh off of fashion week.

Seen on the likes of Singaporean actress Sharon Au, Lenskart’s The Paris Edit hits the brand’s penchant for versatility home. Case in point? Shoppers can choose from a selection of frames—that range from delicately oversized to subtle and sleek—without compromising on quality. The edit’s options also provide a healthy range of materials, from smooth acetate to dapper steel. Each pair is also accompanied by a 3D try-on option that promises to ensure an accurate fit online.

As we bask in the afterglow of haute couture fashion week and browse through edits of streetstyle, chances are fashion inspiration is at top of mind. Whether its couture or a more casual fit, Lenskart’s recent foray into the world of high-fashion proves that the brand has all our bases covered. After all, when it comes to style, it truly is all about the details.
