The year has barely started, but if there’s anything we’re certain of, it’s that Iman Fandi is about to have a busy one. The model, actress and singer has already made a big splash with the release of her latest single, ‘Tip Toes’; an audacious exploration into a new sonic space that showcases her extensive range and flair. And that’s certainly far from all—if her recent shift to a new record label tells us anything, this is simply the beginning of a whole new era, of which is hallmarked by a bold new look. We sit down with Iman Fandi herself amidst her busy schedule to find out her beauty secrets, from the underrated product she adores to the make-up hack that changed her life.
My ride-or-die skincare line-up
Easy. I swear by the Jung Beauty Hydra-Barrier Toner and Pure Calming Pad, the KraveBeauty Great Barrier Relief Serum, and last but not least, the Sahur’s Art Olive Hydrating Jelly.

A game-changing hair tip
I always apply leave-in conditioner or a curl cream after my shower, and I make sure to really scrunch the product into my hair when it is still damp. This retains the shine and maintains the texture of my naturally curly hair throughout the day. The products I use for this are Fenty Beauty The Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Hair Treatment and the Color Wow Curl Wow range.
The wellness practice I’m all for
It’s not wellness per se, but I go to Mizu Aesthetics regularly to get my yellow laser treatment. It’s a big help when it comes to getting rid of my pigmentation and scarring.
My signature fragrance
It changes quite a fair bit but right now, it’s the Rare Beauty Rare Eau de Parfum, YSL Beauty Libre and Yusuf Bhai Passio.
A nail trend I’m obsessed with
Mismatched summer nails with 3D art.
One underrated product I think deserves more recognition
I’d go with the Dior Beauty Forever Skin Perfect 24H Multi-Use Foundation Stick. It has such a skin-like feel, where it is lightweight but can also be layered from light to full coverage. It’s a quick and easy travel must-have.

My three make-up essentials
It’ll have to be the Dior Beauty Backstage Glow Maximizer Palette in 005 Sunlit Amber Glow, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Ultra-Slim Precision Detailing Eyebrow Pencil in Medium Brown and the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix High-Shimmer Gloss Stix in Fu$$y.
The hair look I’ve been dying to try
I have always wanted to do long goddess braids. Either that or cut my hair short.
A song that gets stuck in my head before a big performance
Usually it is whatever new song I’m working on because I listen to them on repeat to make sure it’s right. At this moment, it’s my latest single, ‘Tip Toes’.
My favourite make-up hack
I have two tips that I firmly feel everyone should know about. The first is that you need to layer your cream blush with your powder blush to make it last longer. The second is that before you apply your powder over your concealer or foundation base, use a powder puff and gently rub it on the back of your hand. This gets rid of the superfluous amount of product that usually causes creases.

My beauty philosophy
Beauty is not defined by standards, but by openness. It is found in creativity, emotion and expression. It is meant to be experienced fully and without restriction because there is no right or wrong.
