It’s day one of Paris Fashion Week—where fashion’s crescendo will hit the City of Light. And to cap off the eventful first day, is Dior. Last season for spring/summer 2025, Maria Grazia Chiuri looked to the power of movement, heeding the agility of Diana, a Roman goddess. The result was a collection peppered with sportswear nuances of padded vests, rugged buckles and leather jackets, alongside a fierce appetite for functionality as seen through knee-high gladiator sneakers that stomped down the runway. Perhaps, it was a side we had yet to see from the oft dainty and pristine codes from the house and a side that made us think: “Could there be more?”
Well, all will be revealed this season. One thing’s for sure, it will be a collection dedicated and inspired by female strength and solidarity, and a show lined with a star-studded guestlist of house ambassadors including Blackpink’s Jisoo and Seventeen’s Mingyu.
