How do you give back as a Club Vogue member?
At its core, Club Vogue was birthed out of a desire to cultivate and nurture the next generation of Asian creatives—a mission shared amongst all our members. To that end, a quarter of all membership fees goes towards the Vogue Singapore Foundation, an initiative that supports local fashion talent and elevates them to a global stage.
Funded in part by Club Vogue members through membership fees and the sale of exclusive Vogue merchandise, the Vogue Foundation’s biggest initiative to date is the Vogue Singapore x TaFF Innovation Prize—which includes a $15,000 monetary award. The prize, created in partnership with the Textile and Fashion Federation of Singapore (TaFF), is the first of its kind on our island, and aims to cultivate Asian fashion and bring it to a global platform. Through the Vogue Foundation and with the support of Club Vogue members, we seek out the best and brightest talents on our island and regionally, providing them with invaluable tools, mentorship and monetary support.
The winner of the 2021 edition of the Vogue Singapore x TaFF Innovation Prize was Claudia Poh of Werable, an innovative adaptive fashion label based in Singapore and built on inclusivity and accessibility. Poh has since gone on to join the Good Design Research Initiative, which seeks to help local designers seize opportunities in emerging global spaces.
