Long before Caylee Blosenki was stepping into modelling gigs and on-screen roles—including her turn in Disney+’s Cheaper By The Dozen–she was a theatre kid through and through. Having spent much of her life on stage or in front of a camera, it came as little surprise then that an osteosarcoma diagnosis and subsequent leg amputation at 11 would not pull her away from the creative world she had always imagined for herself. Today, the multi-hyphenate occupies the spotlight entirely on her own terms, often weaving her prosthetic into her style and garnering a loyal online following in the process. Naturally, we caught up with Blosenki to delve into the beauty staples, holy grails and body care products currently shaping her beauty universe.
A key skincare lesson
My skin responds to what I eat and it thrives when I double cleanse with the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser.
The body care products that help with caring for my prosthetic
An unusual product that works is the Carpe Sweat-Absorbing Hand Lotion, which helps reduce sweat during hot days or workouts.

My signature fragrance
The perfume I use changes depending on the day. My current rotation is Flora Gorgeous Orchid by Gucci, Rose Era Eau de Toilette by Snif and Sable d’Ambre by Gas Bijoux.
A non-negotiable skincare step
Moisturiser. The Avène Cicalfate + Restorative Protective Cream paired with Heritage Store Rosewater Refreshing Facial Mist keep my dry skin hydrated.
A wellness ritual I swear by
Daily journalling is a morning ritual that helps me clear my mind. A morning latte is my reset.

An underrated beauty product
The TIGI Bed Head Wax Stick for that effortless slicked-back look.
Three make-up holy grails
Kosas Revealer Concealer, Refy Glow and Sculpt Face Serum Primer with Niacinamide and the L’Oreal Paris Original Telescopic Mascara in Blackest Black.
My go-to hair care
I use the Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Mist when I’m done showering, put in overnight curlers, and finish with the
Kérastase Nutritive Nutri-Supplement Split Ends Serum. It is a game-changer to maintain healthy hair as well as a perfect blowout.
How I approach dressing when I want to feel more confident
I love expressing fashion through my prosthetics and getting creative with styling tights and unique bottoms to highlight my leg. I’d rather be overdressed than underdressed, so a kitten heel with any outfit is my current fixation.

A moment in my career that changed the way I see myself
Finding out I booked my first modelling job for Claire’s at 11 while undergoing chemotherapy. It reminds me how far I’ve come and how proud my younger self would be.
How movement shapes my connection to my body
Doing yoga and walking outside without distractions help me stay in tune with myself and prepare me for the day.
My beauty philosophy
Believing you are beautiful is more important than hearing it. In a world full of critique, it can be difficult not to let the noise of others affect you. It’s about finding confidence within yourself and embracing it in a way that can hopefully broaden and inspire others to see things from.
