Photographed by Juergen Teller for Bottega Veneta’s winter 2026 campaign, Milan’s architectural landscape sets the scene for the house’s latest expression of Intrecciato: the Corso tote. Designed by Creative Director Louise Trotter, the new silhouette brings together generous proportions, pared-back construction and the house’s signature weave.
Conceived as an artistic project, the campaign moves between Villa Terenzio Belloli and Fondazione Pagani, capturing Milan through its intimate interiors, organic architecture, open-air sculptures and natural landscapes. Here, brutalist structures meet unexpected moments of softness, reflecting Trotter’s vision of Bottega Veneta as a house where craft and creativity are continually interwoven.

At the centre of the campaign is the Corso tote, a study in how the house’s leather craftsmanship can find new expression through contemporary design. Its understated silhouette allows the intricacy of Intrecciato to take precedence, while its generous shape introduces a sense of ease to an otherwise considered design. There is a similar dialogue at play in Teller’s photographs, where the sculptural quality of the bag finds an unexpected counterpart in the architecture surrounding it.
Look closer, and the Corso’s considered construction reveals itself in the details. Its handle is integrated directly into the suede-lined body, disappearing into the silhouette to preserve clean, uninterrupted lines. Designed to sit naturally on the shoulder, it balances its distinctive proportions with the practical ease of an everyday companion, offering room for life’s essentials without unnecessary embellishment.

Available in Small, Medium, Large and Maxi, the Corso arrives in seasonal colourways, alongside a lightweight, textured calfskin interpretation in Obsidian Grey and Sting. Across its variations, the design continues Bottega Veneta’s exploration of texture, weight and touch, allowing the material to take centre stage.
Elsewhere, the winter 2026 collection extends the house’s Intrecciato codes across different scales and silhouettes. The Mini Andiamo, Baby Madison and Baby Campana offer more compact companions, while the Veneta presents another expression of the signature weave. Yet with its generous volume and architectural lines, the Corso makes a compelling case for Intrecciato in a more expansive form.
