Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli will be unveiling the Valentino haute couture spring/summer 2022 collection later today from Paris. Titled ‘Anatomy of Couture’, it promises a new take on classic silhouettes—an interesting juncture seeing how their last couture showcase had featured inventive fits in the vein of crepe cuts, trapeze contours, and puffball miniskirts. The luxury fashion house has since released a teaser video on Instagram which depicts an unseen figure sliding on a pair of elbow-length gloves.
The Valentino haute couture spring/summer 2022 collection will be presented at Place Vendôme; a historic square regarded as the starting point of the Rue de la Paix. The celebrated space is home to a variety of established retail stores, famous jewellers and well-known dress designers in couture, and is recognised as one of the oldest monuments in Paris.
