“New ways of seeing. How can the past serve as a starting point to invent the future?” This is the inquiry that serves as the foundation of the Dior fall/winter 2022 show—happening at 3pm (CET) in Paris. This marks Maria Grazia Chiuri’s sixth tenure as Creative Director at the French luxury fashion house, with the brand’s social channels teasing a renewed take on iconic cuts and silhouettes that give room for “experimentation and innovation.” The corresponding images, too, line up to this, with what appears to be exoskeletons of garments and accessories showcased within a glass case. As to what that actually entails, we suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.
