It might be called Fashion Week but the beauty looks served on the streets—and show seats—have been nothing short of traffic-stopping…and save-for-later worthy.
From New York to London, unpredictable weather conditions presented strong winds and sporadic showers that, beyond outerwear, was tackled head on with contrasting hair dos: some played it slick with tight and tidy up dos without a strand out of place—or with precisely gelled Y2k-style spikes—while others embraced their natural tresses complete with kinks, curls and texture worn wild and free. Boldly coloured manes, too, were spotted across the cities, reflecting the refreshed energy and optimism as in-person fashion weeks returned in full force.
On the make-up front, it’s been a literal state of Euphoria. The HBO hit’s experimental influence revealed itself in the form of face embellishments, draped blush, deep contours and Barbie-pink pouts, as well as pops of neon and graphic lines on lids and lips. Smiles were also dressed in vivid shades of red, fuchsia and coral—the classics, which never go out of style.
