Whether it’s on-screen or in real life, for Korean singer and actress Suzy Bae, the Lady Dior bag is a must-have accessory. Fans of the K-drama Start-Up would have noticed her carrying the Lady Dior in black to a networking party, a key scene early on in the series. On Instagram, she’s also often spotted carrying the bag in different sizes (including the new Dior micro-bag) and colours.
Bae stars in the latest episode of Dior’s ‘In My Lady…’ video series, giving us a sneak peek into what’s in her bag and what her daily essentials are. “The Lady Dior bag is my daily accessory,” says Bae. “I always carry it whenever, wherever. It’s definitely an iconic accessory for me. It’s utterly essential. Like a best friend, I’ll always have it by my side.”

While the beautifully crafted lambskin bag with Cannage stitching might be the necessity, the bag itself holds Bae’s everyday essentials. This includes not one but two sanitisers, a must-have for today. A pencil case contains a pencil and highlighter, which Bae uses when reading her scripts. Now that the curtains have closed on Start-Up, she follows the same principle when reading books. At the moment of filming, that was Sally Rooney’s bestseller, Normal People. “I use [the highlighter] on books, to highlight any sentence which leaves a mark on me,” Bae explains.

Besides sanitiser and stationery, the bag is also home to Bae’s Dior Cannage card case and Dior Oblique AirPods case, both of which match the elegant grey hue of her Lady Dior. For those who are curious, her Dior Cannage card case contains her driver’s license, credit cards and receipts.
