If you’ve been an avid follower of Singaporean fashion labels, you’ll know that a host of both established and emerging brands have played a key role in shaping the sartorial language of our rapidly evolving creative landscape. Youths in Balaclava has carved out a distinct niche in community-driven streetwear, offering bold, expressive designs that resonate with youth culture. Grace Ling has made waves on international runways with her futuristic, technology-inspired statement pieces, blending cutting-edge materials with high fashion. Meanwhile, Bryan Yeo has reimagined texture and materiality with his masterful approach to knitwear, pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship and design. This creative fire has slowly started to spread into the world of fashion jewellery, with a growing number of emerging local jewellery brands making their mark in the design of unique earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and much more. What’s exciting is that there is truly something for everyone—whether you’re drawn to minimalist elegance or crave ultra-edgy, statement-making designs. And while some of the brands stay true to being the perfect finishing touch to a well-thought-out ensemble, others are looking to make accessories take centre stage with out-of-the-box artistry and innovative design.
Below, Vogue Singapore rounds up some of the hottest (and most fashion-forward) local jewellery brands to keep a look out for.
